Our client in the power solutions industry is seeking a Field Workforce / Travel Administrator to join their remote team within the United States. In this role, you will provide end-to-end travel coordination, expense administration, and concierge-style support for field technicians working across multiple job sites nationwide. The ideal candidate has experience supporting field teams or traveling employees and excels at managing complex travel logistics while handling sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. To be successful, you must possess exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a service-oriented mindset. This is an opportunity to join a growing field operations team in a fully remote role, ensuring technicians remain supported, productive, and focused while traveling for work assignments.
Field Workforce / Travel Administrator (2+ yrs. Travel Coordination Exp. Req.) Responsibilities
• Coordinate all travel arrangements for field technicians working across national job sites
• Manage travel logistics for remote locations, extended assignments, and project-specific needs
• Provide real-time support for travel changes, rebookings, disruptions, and urgent logistics issues
• Prepare and distribute complete travel itineraries and required travel documentation
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout travel assignments and field deployments
• Support technicians with personal-related needs during travel with empathy and discretion
• Coordinate urgent travel changes and support arrangements for emergency situations
• Review, reconcile, and process technician expense reports using Concur
• Collaborate with hotels, vendors, & service providers to secure cost-effective travel
• Resolve billing discrepancies and service issues with travel vendors and accommodations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring policy compliance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to travel processes & expense reporting
• Provide occasional after-hours on-call support for urgent travel or personal support situations
Field Workforce / Travel Administrator (2+ yrs. Travel Coordination Exp. Req.) Qualifications
• 2+ years of professional travel administration and coordination experience is required
• Experience supporting field teams or traveling employees is required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine service-oriented mindset are required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software is required
• Ability to support field crews outside business hours (PAID), as needed, is required
