Salary: $1,250-$1,500/week base pay during ramp-up + Uncapped Commission (1st year earnings $90k+)

Residential Sales Consultant, Home Improvement Services Description

Our client in the home improvement services industry near Syracuse, NY is looking for a Residential Sales Consultant to become a trusted point of contact for local homeowners. This role is primarily field-based, meeting with homeowners, taking measurements, preparing estimates, and guiding customers from consultation through agreement. You’ll be supported by steady inbound lead flow, which is up 30% year-over-year, with additional networking opportunities available for someone who wants to build a stronger book of business. Most customers are making decisions within one week, and the company averages a 50% close rate, so commission can start adding up quickly. Residential Sales Consultant, Home Improvement Services Responsibilities

•    Schedule and conduct in-home consultations with residential customers
•    Travel locally to evaluate project needs and take measurements 
•    Prepare clear estimates and proposals during customer appointments
•    Educate homeowners on service options based on project needs
•    Manage follow-up communication after each consultation
•    Move qualified opportunities from estimate to agreement
•    Meet or exceed individual sales and revenue goals
•    Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout each project
•    Participate in company-sponsored networking opportunities as needed
•    Manage your schedule to stay responsive to customer requests

Residential Sales Consultant, Home Improvement Services Qualifications

•    Customer-facing experience required
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various technology/software tools required
•    Valid driver’s license required
•    Ability to travel locally for in-home appointments required
•    Ability to work 2-3 evenings/week and occasional Saturdays required
