Our client in the ballistic body armor manufacturing industry is looking for a Sales Representative to add to their growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding relationships with existing distributor accounts, and engaging directly with local, state, federal law enforcement, and military prospective customers. If you have a background in law enforcement, military, or tactical gear sales, this may be a great fit for you. [Remote] Outside Sales Representative (LE/Military exp req) Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, propose, negotiate, and close new business opportunities with distributors
• Manage and grow existing distributor and customer accounts based on service agreement
• Engage directly with local, state, municipal, and federal agencies to prospect and present products
• Travel frequently to industry trade shows and customer sites
• Respond to Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP)
• Manage sales pipeline and channel conflicts through clear communication with sales team
• Set realistic customer expectations through coordination with factory
• Partner with internal teams on sales, export, and contract compliance including ITAR/EAR
• Maintain a book of business — track open orders, manage deliveries, ensure payment reconciliation
• Conduct periodic distributor performance assessments and implement improvement plans
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of product features, specifications, and industry updates
• Understand product certification requirements (NIJ 0101.06/0101.07)

• 3+ years sales experience required
• 2+ years LE, military, federal/state agency, or tactical gear/firearm equipment experience required
• Ability to travel up to 50% required
• Comfort with cold calling and lead generation required
• Ability to work independently and with a small team required
