Wealth Planner / Associate Advisor (Series 7 & 66 req.) Description
Our client in the wealth management industry is looking for a Wealth Planner / Associate Advisor to add to their team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is open to candidates with a strong wealth planning foundation, from hands-on Wealth Planners to more experienced Associate Advisors with deeper CFP-level planning experience. In this role, you will prepare financial plans, support planning strategy, join client meetings, and help advisors deliver recommendations across investments, retirement, estate, tax, and risk planning. This role is designed for someone who brings both technical knowledge and an entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate, thoughtful work. Wealth Planner / Associate Advisor (Series 7 & 66 req.) Responsibilities
• Prepare financial plans and planning summaries for advisor review
• Gather and organize client data for planning meetings
• Analyze client goals, cash flow, assets, liabilities, and risk needs
• Support planning across retirement, tax, estate, and insurance topics
• Join client meetings and document follow-up items
• Help advisors prepare and present planning recommendations
• Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with internal team members to support client needs
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and planning systems
• Support client retention through responsive, accurate follow-up
Wealth Planner / Associate Advisor (Series 7 & 66 req.) Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience required
• Experience with portfolio analysis and preparing financial plans required
• Knowledge of investment management, tax strategy, and estate planning fundamentals required
• Active Series 7, and Series 66 (or 63/65) licenses required
• Financial planning/advisor designation (CFP, CPWA) or progress toward completion required
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with confidence in leading client-facing relationships
• Familiarity with financial planning software (eMoney, Morningstar, YCharts) & MS Office required
