QA Manager (AS9100 exp req) Description 

Our client in the electronic manufacturing industry is looking for a QA Manager to join their team. This role will build and strengthen a quality-driven culture with a focus on root cause problem-solving, ownership of the AS9100 quality management system, standards-based compliance and certification, and data-driven continuous improvement. Leveraging your experience in quality and change management, you will improve processes and drive accountability across the organization. This role is suitable for an experienced or rising hands-on leader who will build credibility and rapport with the quality team, implement sustainable improvements, and take pride in their team’s achievements. QA Manager (AS9100 exp req) Responsibilities

•    Establish and refine workmanship standards and inspection criteria
•    Accept or reject use-as-is and customer deviation requests
•    Determine requirements for new products
•    Establish plans and frequency for sampling and inspection
•    Approve plans to correct quality issues and maintain organized, retrievable records
•    Own calibration program: schedule, vendors, recall system, and compliance
•    Maintain AS9100 certification and audit preparation and ensure ongoing use of system
•    Own all compliance for CMMC and maintain required level with ongoing monitoring
•    Maintain standards compliance (IPC-620, ANSI ESD S20.20, FARs/DFARs)
•    Ensure customer contract quality requirement compliance
•    Approve quality procedures, work instructions, and ensure consistent follow-through
•    Manage internal audit schedule and findings to address root-cause issues
•    Communicate with customers regarding quality concerns, corrective actions, delivery timelines
•    Hire, develop, manage, and oversee training/certification requirements for quality inspectors
•    Set priorities and workload for quality team
•    Use data to track leading indicators, drive corrective action, and share insights with leadership

QA Manager (AS9100 exp req) Qualifications

•    5+ years quality experience required
•    Leading and/or supporting customer and third-party audits experience required
•    IPC620 and AS9100 certification experience required
•    Proficiency in root cause analysis tools required
•    Creating and/or managing quality documentation experience required
