Our client, a growing jewelry wholesale company, is seeking a motivated, results-driven Account Manager to join their team in New York, NY. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will own and expand relationships with major jewelry retail partners, managing accounts end-to-end across brick-and-mortar, eCommerce, and drop-ship channels. You’ll drive strategic growth, oversee operational execution, and build long-term retail partnerships that directly impact revenue. Our client is looking for a self-starter who takes initiative, thinks commercially, and proactively identifies opportunities to grow accounts in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Account Manager, Jewelry (2+ yrs exp. w/ Major Retailers req.) Responsibilities
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned major jewelry retailer accounts
• Manage the full account lifecycle across retail, eCommerce, and drop-ship channels
• Develop product proposals, pricing strategies, and spec sheets to drive new sales opportunities
• Analyze sales performance and inventory trends to proactively expand revenue
• Execute upsell and cross-sell initiatives within existing accounts
• Ensure order accuracy, resolve fulfillment issues, and maintain accurate retailer product data
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to launch new assortments and initiatives
• Track competitor activity and retailer feedback to refine strategy and drive performance
Account Manager, Jewelry (2+ yrs exp. w/ Major Retailers req.) Qualifications
• 2+ years of wholesale account management/sales experience required
• Experience managing accounts with major retailers (e.g. Macy’s, Kohls, etc.) required
• Proficient with MS Excel, and other technology platforms/software required
• Analytical skills to make sales and product recommendations required
• Highly organized, commercially minded and proactive, with a strong attention to detail required
• Strong communicator, comfortable managing retailer relationships independently
