Project Manager (commercial electrical construction exp. req.) Description

Our client, a leader in commercial and industrial electrical construction, is seeking an experienced industry professional to join their team as a Project Manager in Torrance, CA. In this role, you will oversee 3–4 concurrent electrical construction projects totaling approximately $5M annually, including renovations, ground-up builds, and commercial/industrial design-build work. This position offers a high level of autonomy in project planning and execution, working closely with field foremen and reporting directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in commercial electrical construction – either from the field or in a project management capacity – with a solid working knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical codes and standards. Project Manager (commercial electrical construction exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Manage 2–4 concurrent commercial, industrial or healthcare electrical projects depending on scope
•    Oversee jobsite schedules, budgets, and safety compliance
•    Coordinate field operations with foremen and subcontractors
•    Handle submittals, take-offs, change orders, and documentation
•    Visit job sites across LA and Orange County weekly 
•    Ensure proper procurement and use of materials and equipment
•    Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal leadership
•    Participate in estimating, pre-con, and closeout processes
•    Utilize technology tools and software to support project execution
•    Demonstrate strong communication with teams and stakeholders

Project Manager (commercial electrical construction exp. req.) Qualifications

•    Commercial electrical construction experience required
•    Knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical codes and standards required
•    Proficiency with technology and construction management software required
•    Valid driver’s license for local job site travel required
