Manufacturing Engineer Description

Our client, an established precision machining company in southern Minnesota, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. This opportunity is ideal for either an early-career engineer looking to build a strong foundation or a hands-on professional with machining experience who’s ready to take the next step into an engineering-focused role. In this position, you’ll play a key role in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You’ll gain exposure to the full production lifecycle—from interpreting customer drawings and supporting quoting efforts to launching new jobs and optimizing workflows on the shop floor.
This is a highly collaborative and partially client-facing role, offering the chance to work closely with engineering, quality, operations, and customers to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet technical and delivery expectations. With strong mentorship, exposure to modern manufacturing practices, and a clear path for growth, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills, make an immediate impact, and grow into a leadership role over time.
