Location: SW Baltimore, MD; WFH up to 2 days/week after onboarding   
Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000 + Bonus Potential

Important Note: The role is currently based in Southwest Baltimore, with the office expected to relocate to the White Marsh area within the next 6–9 months. You will have the flexibility to work from home after training. Onboarding typically lasts up to 6 months. Once you’re up to speed, you’ll have the option to work remotely 1-2 days per week.

[HYBRID] Sr. Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist (recruiter exp. req.) Description 

Our client, a well-established HVAC provider, is seeking a Sr. Recruiting and HR Specialist to join their team (45 company-wide). This is a newly created role reporting directly to the President, as current HR and recruiting efforts are being handled by leadership. As the company continues to grow, this hire will be responsible for owning talent acquisition across both field and office positions and helping build a more scalable recruiting function. During the first six months, the primary focus will be on recruiting and strengthening the company’s onboarding process. In addition, the role will support broader HR initiatives, including employee engagement and team-building efforts, playing a key part in shaping and formalizing HR practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will be experienced in recruiting blue-collar talent and understand the unique challenges that come with sourcing these types of roles. This is a great opportunity to partner with an owner who will give you the autonomy to own this function while still providing the support and collaboration needed to be successful.

[HYBRID] Sr. Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist (recruiter exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Lead full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing through hire
•    Build talent pipelines by partnering with trade associations and community events
•    Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs and execute hiring strategies
•    Drive onboarding with regular check-ins to boost engagement and retention
•    Maintain HRIS data, employee records, and reporting
•    Support HR programs and initiatives from planning to execution
•    Collaborate on performance management and employee development
•    Partner with a third-party HR provider on employee compliance and HR best practices
•    Plan company events and initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement
•    Align HR strategies with business goals to support scalable growth

[HYBRID] Sr. Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist (recruiter exp. req.) Qualifications 

•    5+ years of recruiting experience required  
•    Experience supporting basic HR initiatives required
•    Proven success recruiting for blue-collar roles (e.g., skilled trades, warehousing, etc.) required 
•    Experience leading onboarding programs, including new hire orientation required 
•    Ability to work onsite full-time for the first 6 months
