Controls Engineer (Minimum 1 PLC programming exp. req.) Description

Our client, an industrial equipment manufacturer, is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team (80 company-wide; 4 Controls Engineers) in Knoxville, TN. If you’re looking for a smaller team and less of the corporate feel that comes with larger organizations, this could be a great match. This role focuses on designing, programming, debugging, and supporting automated systems, with a mix of controls development, electrical hardware design, and programming. They’re growing the team and are open to different experience levels, whether you’re earlier in your career or bring more hands-on experience. They place a strong emphasis on work/life balance and recently developed a schedule that allowed a newer engineer to have half days most Fridays. This is a great opportunity to join an engineering-focused company with a strong culture, travel incentives, and profit-sharing.
