Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Description

Our client in manufacturing is looking for a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to add to their team south of downtown Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will spend most of your time on the floor supporting a second-shift team, keeping production moving, helping troubleshoot issues, and stepping in where needed. You will also complete shift reports, oversee shutdown procedures, and help maintain safety, quality, and after-hours shipping coordination. Our client is looking for someone with hands-on manufacturing leadership experience, practical troubleshooting ability, and comfort working around manual and automated production equipment. To be successful in the role, you must be willing to learn all positions on the shop floor, communicate clearly with operators, and lead by example in a physically active environment. Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Responsibilities

•    Lead second-shift production to hit daily output goals 
•    Troubleshoot floor issues and reduce avoidable downtime 
•    Step in on the floor where needed to keep work moving 
•    Support shift operators across key production areas 
•    Coordinate after-hours shipping activity as needed 
•    Partner with maintenance on repair priorities and line needs 
•    Complete shift, quality, and production reports daily 
•    Enforce safe work practices and clean work areas 
•    Follow machine and equipment shutdown procedures 
•    Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements 

Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Qualifications

•    Supervisory or team lead experience in manufacturing environment required
•    Experience operating manufacturing machinery and equipment required 
•    Basic computer skills, specifically, MS Excel or Google Sheets, and tablets required
•    Willingness/ability to work 2nd Shift Monday-Friday (2:30-11 pm)
