Plant Manager Description

Our client is looking for a Plant Manager to add to their team in Alpharetta, GA. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production planning, labor and equipment allocation, material requirements, and overall manufacturing operations. You will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products built to customer specifications while maintaining safety, efficiency, and cost control standards.  

The successful candidate will be a visible, steady leader on the production floor, who earns trust through clear communication, consistent decision-making, and an openness to employee input. To thrive in this role, you will need hands-on experience in millwork or related wood-products manufacturing, and the ability to be a problem solver in a fast-paced production environment. Plant Manager Responsibilities

•    Oversee all manufacturing planning and production activities
•    Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders to quality standards
•    Supervise and support manufacturing personnel
•    Monitor labor and material costs to maintain profitability
•    Maintain OSHA and company safety compliance standards
•    Oversee preventative maintenance programs for equipment and facilities
•    Support new product development and cost estimation processes
•    Lead training, performance management, and disciplinary actions as needed
•    Participate in production, quality, and safety meetings
•    Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Plant Manager Qualifications 

•    5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required
•    5+ years of experience with millwork or related wood-products manufacturing required 
•    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications required
