Branch Manager
Location: Freehold, NJ
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 + Quarterly Bonus + Benefits
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k w/ Match, PTO
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: M-F, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus two rotating Saturdays per month, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Branch Manager Description
Our client is looking for a hands-on Branch Manager to lead and grow their wholesale distribution operation in Freehold, NJ. This is a high-impact role with responsibility for the branch’s sales growth, profitability, operations, inventory, warehouse, and team. The Branch Manager will play a key role in re-engaging existing customers, developing new business, improving inventory accuracy, strengthening branch operations, and leading the team. Branch Manager Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the branch, including sales, warehouse, inventory, logistics, customer service, and administrative functions
• Own branch performance and profitability, partnering with leadership to review results, identify opportunities, and execute improvement initiatives
• Drive sales growth by developing new customer relationships and re-engaging dormant and underperforming accounts
• Build strong relationships with contractors and other B2B customers and serve as a resource to the sales team.
• Lead, coach, and hold a team accountable for performance, customer service, and daily execution.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, receiving, transfers, order fulfillment, and delivery coordination.
• Establish priorities and set the pace for the branch, ensuring commitments and initiatives are followed through.
• Monitor inventory and cycle counts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective action.
• Ensure the branch, warehouse, vehicles, and surrounding property are safe, clean, organized, and operating efficiently
• Communicate regularly with company leadership and collaborate with other departments.
Branch Manager Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Supervisory or management experience required
• Wholesale distribution experience required
• Experience in plumbing/HVAC, electrical, or another contractor-focused B2B distribution environment required
• Proven ability to lead a team, establish accountability, and follow through on initiatives required
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills required
