Our client in the financial technology industry is looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to add to their team in Singapore. In this role, you will build production software, services, SDKs, APIs, and integrations used in security-sensitive environments. The ideal candidate will have strong production Rust experience and a background building software that integrates with other systems and applications. To be successful, you must have strong networked and distributed systems fundamentals, prioritize correctness and reliability, and be comfortable working with security-sensitive code. Senior Rust Engineer (2+ Yrs. Production Rust Exp. Req.) – REMOTE Responsibilities

•    Build and maintain production Rust services, SDKs, APIs, and integrations
•    Translate technical specifications into clean, testable, auditable software implementations
•    Design networking and orchestration layers for complex distributed and multi-party systems
•    Develop and maintain cross-platform integrations, bindings, and application interfaces 
•    Build reliable integrations across systems and applications
•    Improve developer experience through API design, documentation, and tooling
•    Partner with cross-functional teams to deploy complex cryptographic solutions at scale
•    Develop and execute unit, integration, and other tests for production code
•    Identify and address edge cases, failure modes, performance issues, and reliability risks
•    Develop software for correctness, maintainability, auditability, and security review
•    Support technical integrations by creating clear and reliable interfaces 
•    Contribute to technically challenging projects while expanding expertise through collaboration 

Senior Rust Engineer (2+ Yrs. Production Rust Exp. Req.) – REMOTE Qualifications

•    5+ years of software development experience is required
•    2+ years of recent professional Rust development experience in production systems is required
•    Strong knowledge of core Rust concepts & modern Rust libraries and frameworks is required
•    Experience building production software that integrates with other systems & apps is required
•    Strong experience testing your own production code is required
•    Occasional availability outside core hours for meetings with global customers is required
