Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Description

Our client is seeking entry level Associate Veterinarians to join their hospital in Lancaster, PA. There are no overnight shifts or Sunday hours. In this role, you will deliver a personalized client and patient experience while practicing high-quality medicine in a collaborative, ethics-driven environment. The ideal candidate is an animal advocate who communicates clearly, exercises strong clinical judgment, and builds lasting trust with pet owners. Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Responsibilities

•    Provide emergency medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for canine and feline patients
•    Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
•    Manage emergency and urgent medical cases including trauma, toxicities, and acute illnesses
•    Interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory results, radiographs, and other imaging
•    Monitor hospitalized patients and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response
•    Triage emergency cases and initiate stabilization and critical care protocols
•    Perform emergency and urgent surgical procedures as indicated
•    Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans clearly with pet owners
•    Collaborate with veterinary technicians and hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care
•    Maintain accurate medical records while following hospital protocols and best practices

Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Qualifications

•    DVM/VMD from an accredited program is required (or upcoming DVM/VMD)
•    North American Veterinary License required (or soon to earn, if finishing Veterinary school)
•    Willingness to work one Saturday per month is required
