Sales Account Manager (Entry Level) Description
Our client, a well-established and recession-resistant industrial organization, is seeking a driven, curious, and relationship-oriented individual to join their team as a Sales Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is naturally inquisitive, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build a long-term career in industrial sales and account management. Sales Account Manager (Entry Level) Responsibilities
• Act as primary contact for steel mill and industrial accounts
• Build and maintain trusted, long-term customer relationships
• Communicate customer needs internally across operations and logistics
• Coordinate delivery, product specifications, and service expectations
• Conduct regular customer visits and check-ins
• Monitor account activity, feedback, and service levels; resolve issues proactively
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and account documentation
• Track customer feedback and market trends
• Support leadership with pricing, renewals, and contracts
• Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events
• Continuously develop product, operational, and industry knowledge
Sales Account Manager (Entry Level) Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Internship in Business, Sales, Industrial Distribution, Engineering or similar required
• Strong curiosity and desire to learn within an industrial or manufacturing environment required
• Willingness to travel locally and domestically (20–40%) required
• Valid driver’s license required
