Sales Development Representative Description

Sales Development Representative Responsibilities

•    Act as primary contact for steel mill and industrial accounts
•    Build and maintain trusted, long-term customer relationships
•    Communicate customer needs internally across operations and logistics
•    Coordinate delivery, product specifications, and service expectations
•    Conduct regular customer visits and check-ins
•    Monitor account activity, feedback, and service levels; resolve issues proactively
•    Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts
•    Prepare quotes, proposals, and account documentation
•    Track customer feedback and market trends
•    Support leadership with pricing, renewals, and contracts
•    Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events
•    Continuously develop product, operational, and industry knowledge

Sales Development Representative Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    Experience or strong interest in industrial, manufacturing, or raw materials operations
•    Proven client-facing skills and professional demeanor required 
•    Willingness and ability to travel locally and domestically (20–40%) required 
•    Valid driver’s license required
