Our client in the industrial equipment industry is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for after-sales warranty and technical support. You will manage customer support interactions, guiding dealers through installation questions and walking end users through troubleshooting and diagnosis via phone and video. Successful candidates will have controls knowledge, the ability to read electrical schematics, and prior experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Technical Support Specialist (Mat. Handling / Ind. Equip. Exp Req) Responsibilities

•    Own after-sales technical support and warranty inquiries from dealers and end users 
•    Assist dealers with technical questions at the time of product installation
•    Provide ongoing technical and troubleshooting support to end users post-installation 
•    Read and interpret electrical prints/schematics to help identify the source of a problem
•    Guide dealers and technicians through remote diagnosis via phone, video, and written responses  
•    Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues remotely and recommend corrective action
•    Process and track warranty claims; maintain documentation of support cases and resolutions
•    Relay recurring field issues and product feedback to engineering and manufacturing 
•    Participate in the internal Issue Log Team
•    Support secondary responsibilities as workload and background allow

Technical Support Specialist (Mat. Handling / Ind. Equip. Exp Req) Qualifications

•    3+ years experience in technical support or mechanical/electrical field service required 
•    Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics required
•    Strong electrical and mechanical background with controls experience required
•    Strong customer service and communication skills required
