Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 + up to 15% Bonus + Benefits

Service Manager Description

Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving a broad range of industrial and commercial markets, is seeking a Service Manager to join their Windsor, CT team. In this role, you’ll lead a team of 10 Field Service Engineers located across the United States, coordinating maintenance and service activities for precision measurement and inspection equipment. The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader who thrives on strong, transparent communication across teams and channels—driving alignment, clarity of expectations, and operational excellence. You’ll play a hands-on role in developing service strategies, optimizing efficiency, and supporting growth initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, while having the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the team and the company’s continued success.

Service Manager Responsibilities

•    Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 10 Field Service Engineers
•    Coordinate and schedule maintenance visits, repairs, and service requests efficiently
•    Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and best practices
•    Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct evaluations
•    Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
•    Act as primary point of contact for customer inquiries and service escalations
•    Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
•    Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and technical support teams to streamline operations
•    Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
•    Manage budgets, resources, and operational costs for service activities
•    Support service growth strategies to increase revenue

Service Manager Qualifications

•    4+ years of service management experience required
•    Experience with technical manufacturing products required 
•    Experience leading and managing field service teams required 
•    Must be willing to work onsite in Windsor, CT
