Service Administrator Description

Our client, a global manufacturing leader, is seeking a highly organized Service Coordinator to support their Windsor, CT office. In this role, you will coordinate Field Service Engineers, manage service requests and documentation, and serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively across departments, and provide exceptional support to both customers and the service team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience supporting field service operations within a manufacturing, industrial equipment, or other technical environment.

Service Coordinator Responsibilities

•    Coordinate and schedule Field Service Engineer appointments and service calls 
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests, equipment status, and scheduling updates 
•    Process service reports, work orders, invoices, and related documentation 
•    Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and service history records within company systems 
•    Monitor open service tickets to ensure timely follow-up and resolution 
•    Coordinate technician schedules, parts availability, and required documentation 
•    Assist with warranty claims, purchase orders, and billing inquiries 
•    Partner with Sales, Service, Operations, and other internal departments to support customer satisfaction 
•    Maintain inventory records and assist with ordering parts and supplies 

Service Coordinator Qualifications

•    2+ years of administrative or customer support experience required
•    Experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineering, or other technical environments required 
•    Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail required 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
