Service Technician – Automotive Lifts & Equipment Description

Our client, a leading provider of automotive service equipment solutions, is looking for a Service Technician to add to their team. In this role, you'll start your day from home in a company-provided service truck and travel to customer locations to inspect, maintain, repair, and install automotive lifts and other shop equipment. You'll provide exceptional service to automotive dealerships, repair shops, fleet facilities, tire stores, and industrial customers throughout the region.

To thrive in this role, you must be a mechanically inclined technician with experience in automotive lifts, HVAC, industrial maintenance, automotive repair, plumbing, or electrical systems who enjoys variety and hands-on work. Service Technician – Automotive Lifts & Equipment Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on automotive lifts and shop equipment
• Conduct ALI-compliant lift inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
• Install and commission automotive lifts and related equipment
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Replace and repair lift components
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
• Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status to customers
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and service vehicle
• Complete service documentation accurately
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards

Service Technician – Automotive Lifts & Equipment Qualifications

• ALI Lift Inspector Certification or willingness to obtain required
• 2+ years of experience in automotive lifts, industrial maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive repair, heavy equipment, or related mechanical field required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
