Inventory Control Specialist (retail inventory processing exp. req.) Description
We’re partnering with Bachendorf’s as they continue to grow their inventory team at their Dallas headquarters. In this role, you’ll support the purchasing and inventory operations for fashion jewelry brands and timepieces, handling daily order processing that can range from a single item to larger shipments. You'll help ensure inventory moves efficiently across locations, support the sales teams, and maintain accurate records within Excel and the company's inventory systems. Because they work with luxury brands and high-value merchandise, they're looking for someone who values accuracy, enjoys working with organized processes, and has experience supporting operations in a luxury or retail environment. Inventory Control Specialist (retail inventory processing exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Process inventory by inspecting, inputting, and transferring to stores
• Place weekly orders based on demand and urgency
• Prepare monthly and year-end sales and on-hand inventory reports using Excel
• Handle Returns to Vendors (RTVs), coordinating with brand reps for products
• Oversee inventory movement between stores, ensuring accurate tracking
• Maintain accurate records within SFDC of products and locations
• Ensure compliance with inventory policies, resolving discrepancies and escalating issues
• Communicate with the Buying Team on inventory needs and product issues
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, stores, and operations teams
• Adhere to data confidentiality and ensure best practices in inventory management
Inventory Control Specialist (retail inventory processing exp. req.) Qualifications
• 3+ years of retail inventory processing and high-volume data entry experience
• Experience using an ERP, CRM, or other inventory management system
• Comfortable using Excel including formulas and calculations
• Ability to work 100% onsite
