Outside Sales – Industrial (1+ yrs of Sales Exp Req, Any Industry) Description
Our client in the industrial products space is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow distributor accounts across MA, NY, and RI. This role focuses on selling mounted bearings, power transmission components, chain, sprockets, gears, and stainless-steel solutions for heavy-duty applications. The position will own a new territory with a lot of untapped potential. You will be responsible for sales prospecting, targeted outreach, and regular customer meetings via independently planned travel. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and customer-focused, with strong follow-through and account management skills. Outside Sales – Industrial (1+ yrs of Sales Exp Req, Any Industry) Responsibilities
• Develop and grow distributor relationships across a multi-state territory
• Drive new business via sales prospecting and targeted outreach to potential customers
• Schedule and conduct customer meetings per week within the assigned territory
• Independently plan weekly travel and customer visit schedules
• Manage and grow accounts while expanding market penetration
• Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and growth goals
• Maintain accurate account records, activity tracking, and pipeline data within CRM
• Collaborate with internal sales and business development teams as needed
• Monitor competitors and share market and customer feedback
• Represent the company professionally with distributors and end customers

• 1+ years of outside sales experience in any industry is required
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills are required
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and tools is required
• Ability to travel 50%-70% within the territory + an annual visit to the Portland office is required
