Salary: $155,000 - $160,000+ (negotiable, DOE) + Bonus Opportunities

[HYBRID] Sr. Director of Development & Donor Engagement (Nonprofit) Description

We’re working closely with Partnership with Native Americans (PWNA) as they search for a new a Sr. Director of Development to join their team. You will oversee and connect all major fundraising functions including Mission Advancement, Planned Giving, Corporate Sponsorships, and Digital. Overseeing a team of four, you’ll focus on driving diversified and sustainable revenue growth. This is a highly visible role that blends strategy with execution. They need someone who can set the vision but also step in and actively build, optimize, and scale campaigns. The organization is in a strong position financially, with most of the funding coming from private sources, which provides stability and less reliance on federal funding shifts. They are looking for a leader who has incorporated digital strategies such as paid social, email marketing, and multi-channel campaigns to reach and engage a broader, more modern donor base. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining strong work life balance with a clear path toward a Vice President of Development role.

 [HYBRID] Sr. Director of Development & Donor Engagement (Nonprofit) Responsibilities

•    Lead, manage, and mentor the development team (4) 
•    Partner cross-functionally to create compelling campaigns and content 
•    Strategize opportunities that drive revenue growth leaning on digital channels 
•    Build and optimize a multi-channel donor journey to increase retention 
•    Oversee CRM and fundraising systems to ensure accurate tracking
•    Collaborate with Programs to expand in-kind and mission-aligned opportunities
•    Implement and enhance systems to analyze all fundraising activities 
•    Engage the Board and Development Committee to increase participation
•    Manage timelines, campaigns, and grant processes  
•    Establish KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting frameworks
•    Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership

[HYBRID] Sr. Director of Development & Donor Engagement (Nonprofit) Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree required 
•    7+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience required 
•    3+ years of experience leading and developing teams, preferably within high-growth or evolving environments required 
•    Strong background in private fundraising, including individual donors & corporate partnerships
•    Demonstrated experience leveraging digital fundraising strategies, including multi-channel donor engagement and online campaigns required
