Sales Support Specialist Description

Our client, a growing leader in commercial services, is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to play a key role in their Preventative Maintenance (PM) sales operation. This hands-on position works closely with the Sales Manager and collaborates across Sales, Service, Operations, and Accounting to keep deals moving smoothly from proposal through execution. In this role, you’ll bring structure and accuracy to proposals, contracts, and reporting—helping ensure every opportunity is set up for success. The ideal candidate has experience in a commercial services environment, is comfortable with recurring maintenance contracts, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven setting. This is a strong opportunity for a sales operations–oriented professional who wants meaningful ownership, visibility, and the chance to directly support business growth.

Sales Support Specialist Responsibilities

•    Support preventative maintenance sales across commercial and industrial accounts
•    Review proposals and contracts for accuracy, scope, pricing, and compliance
•    Assist with managing sales opportunities when timing or coverage requires support
•    Coordinate responses to government and municipal bids, including schedules and requirements
•    Partner with Sales, Operations, Service, and Finance to ensure accurate and executable deals
•    Track sales opportunities, contract awards, renewals, and key deadlines
•    Ensure smooth handoff of approved contracts from sales to operations
•    Maintain CRM data accuracy and reinforce sales process discipline
•    Monitor pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales activity
•    Prepare regular sales performance and forecasting reports
•    Support onboarding and training of sales team members 

Sales Support Specialist Qualifications

•    3+ years of B2B sales operations or sales support experience required
•    Field services industry [HVAC, utility, facilities, etc.] experience required 
•    Strong understanding of preventative maintenance or recurring service contracts required
•    CRM experience required 
•    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis required
•    Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday required
