Our client is looking for a dynamic Nonprofit Senior Accountant to add to their team near Boston, MA, an easy commute from MetroWest. This is a hybrid position where you can work from home two days a week. If you are looking for an accounting job with a work-life balance and no overtime, this is the role for you! Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, preparing financial statements, budgeting, and cash reports to ensure sound nonprofit accounting practices. To be considered for this role, you must have at least five years of nonprofit accounting experience and extensive knowledge of accounting principles for nonprofit organizations. [Hybrid] Nonprofit Senior Accountant (CPA req; Work/life balance) Responsibilities

● Oversee accounting functions
● Prepare and manage annual independent audit and Form 990 engagements
● Prepare financial budgets, P&L, audits, and month-end closings
● Implement compliance with Medicare standards and reporting
● Prepare Medicare cost reporting schedules for consultant
● Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash position
● Track forecasting reports
● Prepare monthly cost allocations
● Ensure sound nonprofit accounting practices
● Maintain general ledger and bank reconciliations
● Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
● CPA or actively pursuing required
● 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience required
● Advanced Excel experience required
