Air Quality / Emissions Modeler – REMOTE Description

Our client in the environmental consulting industry is looking for a Modeler to add to their team. In this fully remote role, you will conduct technical analysis using emissions and air quality models to address complex environmental problems. Our client is open to hiring a seasoned candidate or also someone who recently completed a degree program including modeling experience. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with emissions and/or air quality modeling and will have strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. Air Quality / Emissions Modeler – REMOTE Responsibilities

•    Complete emissions and air quality modeling assessments 
•    Participate in environmental data analysis projects
•    Use advanced emissions and air quality models for technical analysis
•    Visualize, analyze, and interpret model data and other environmental datasets
•    Support industry and government clients with their research, litigation, & regulatory needs
•    Utilize statistical techniques to compare model outcomes and observational data
•    Assess emissions inventories to support quality assessments
•    Generate technical reports and convey findings to clients and fellow scientific researchers
•    Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams in a cooperative, applied research setting
•    Passionate about environmental science with a desire to expand skills via training opportunities

Air Quality / Emissions Modeler – REMOTE Qualifications

•    MS, or PhD in the physical sciences, environmental sciences, or engineering is required
•    Experience with emission and/or air quality modeling is required
•    Strong data analysis skills are required
