Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 + Commission (OTE $25k-$30k, 1st yr GTD) + Car Allowance ($6k)

Territory Sales Representative, Industrial Motor Products Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to add to their team. You will be responsible for increasing sales of their industrial motor brush product line by identifying new sales opportunities, recommending product use, and validating in-field product performance. Our clients’ products are proven in the marketplace today with demonstrated performance, but in need of representation and attention to grow their share of the market. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience in manufacturing sales, selling industrial motor brushes, slip rings or a similar product with an electrical application, and come equipped with development-heavy sales strategies. To be successful, you must be able to implement strategies and sales tactics to uncover new business opportunities, with the ability to drive a long sales process, as sales cycles and project timelines could last up to two years. Territory Sales Representative, Industrial Motor Products Responsibilities

•    Engage with new operations and maintenance accounts to increase product sales
•    Travel to customer sites; educate on products available and provide products for testing
•    Communicate specification changes in conjunction with manufacturing and engineering teams
•    Manage long-term sales cycles (~2 years) and product development projects 
•    Verify product performance with customers in operation
•    Gain technical product knowledge and market insight to support remote field teams 
•    Collaborate with management to develop a strategic sales plan 
•    Evaluate pricing and costs for key products
•    Present and participate in trade association events
•    Assess market trends and provide market intelligence on competitive activity

Territory Sales Representative, Industrial Motor Products Qualifications

•    2+ years of technical/industrial manufactured product sales experience required
•    2+ years of business development experience required
•    Experience with industrial motor brushes, slip rings and/or electrical components required
•    Willingness/ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and international) required
•    Possession of / or ability to acquire a valid passport required
•    Driver’s License required
