CMM Quality Inspector (CMM exp. req.) Description
Our client, an industrial equipment manufacturer, is looking for a CMM Quality Inspector to add to their Team in Hollywood, CA. Although our client is small in team size (12), their results are impressive. They’ve been in business for over 30 years and a new President took over five years ago. Since then, they’ve doubled in revenue and added a new Head of Manufacturing last year to take their operations to the next level. Getting away from the mentality of, “this is always how it has been done” to, “how can we do this more efficiently with an emphasis and quality and process”. That’s where you come in and why they’ve added this new position. You’ll play a pivotal role in transcending their “mom-and-pop” type infrastructure by helping their Manufacturing Leader execute QA and QC processes. She’s already created the right processes; she’s looking for the person to document it and put it into motion. To be chosen for this role, you must have a strong background with dimensional inspection using CMM and various measurement hand tools. Whether you’ve helped drive a shift in a more process-driven culture or are looking for an opportunity to make a greater impact, this is your chance. However, if you are looking to walk into an environment where QA/QC is already well-structured and you’ll be maintaining the status quo, this would not be a good fit. Ultimately, our client is looking for a communicative, proactive quality professional who can help shape the future of their manufacturing environment.
