Associate Attorney (real estate & corporate transaction exp. req.) Description

Our client, a boutique firm specializing in a variety of complex commercial litigation and corporate transactions, is looking for an Associate Attorney to join their firm near Troy, MI. They’re seeking a tenured law professional to lead sophisticated commercial real estate transactions while supporting other corporate law matters. Aside from a strong company law background, they’re looking for the right culture fit. Most of their partners have come from bigger firms and consciously decided to cultivate and nurture a different environment. Their Managing Partner shared, “We like to believe we’ve created a safe space where we are allies for each other and that’s number one.” Although this line of work is inherently stressful, our client has made it a point to lead their firm in a way that champions respect and harmonious partnerships. You’ll probably have more fun with them too. Their work hard/play hard mentality is evidenced by their shuffleboard table in the office, stand-up bar, and often going out for cocktails together. Whether you are grinding at a bigger firm looking for more of an opportunity to soar on your own or want to surround yourself in a better, less adversarial environment filled with true collaboration, this is your chance to find a higher calling. This is where the good get better and your additional efforts are acknowledged and rewarded because of their performance incentive plans.  If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy networking opportunities that help expand your footprint, this could be a perfect fit for you to have a more purposeful, rewarding career in law.
