API Inspector (Refinery or Chemical Plant exp req) Description

You will be responsible for performing equipment condition assessments and API inspections for vessels, piping, tanks, and relief valves, ensuring that all inspection activities are conducted in full compliance with established laws, codes, standards, and procedures. To be successful in this job, you must be able to climb high structures, enter vessels, and navigate confined spaces with ease. API Inspector (Refinery or Chemical Plant exp req) Responsibilities

•    Ensure the integrity of all pressure vessels, tanks, piping and PSV’s
•    Assure facility compliance for the inspection and repair
•    Support inspection department in daily support
•    Identify compliance and inspection gaps, report findings and recommendations
•    Develop and maintain written inspection procedures, guidelines, and work instructions
•    Provide support for routine maintenance, unit shutdowns, and turnarounds
•    Support safety and PSM efforts by participating in MOC departmental reviews and PSSRs
•    Understand critical process variables

API Inspector (Refinery or Chemical Plant exp req) Qualifications

•    2+ years of API inspection experience required
•    API 510, 653 or 570 certification required (must have at least one)
•    Practical Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel and Piping Codes required
•    Must be able to climb high structures, enter vessels, and navigate confined spaces with ease
