Salary: $100,000 - $130,000+ (DOE) + Year-End Sales Bonus (Y1 = 5%-15%)  + Benefits

Business Development – OEM Medical Device Market Description

Our client, in imaging solutions manufacturing, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team near Encinitas, CA. You will focus on growing the medical device market by identifying and closing significant business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves close collaboration with sales management and optical experts, developing and executing business plans, and penetrating new markets to achieve company targets. Qualified candidates will have at least three (3) years of customer-facing experience with OEMs or manufacturers, with a technical (mechanical, scientific, or engineering) background, with the ability to understand customer needs and discuss complex solutions for medical device applications. •    Collaborate with sales and optical engineers to identify business opportunities
•    Develop and execute strategic business plans for revenue growth
•    Penetrate new markets to achieve company targets
•    Provide market feedback to leadership for product development
•    Participate in trade shows to network and generate sales leads
•    Act as the interface between customers and manufacturing overseas operations

Business Development– OEM Medical Device Market Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    3+ years of customer-facing experience with OEMs or manufacturers experience required
•    Technical (mechanical, scientific, or engineering) background required
•    Ability/willingness to travel 25% (domestic and internationally) required
•    Possess a valid passport or the ability to obtain one upon hire
