Supply Chain Manager (supply chain & inventory planning exp. req.) Description 

Our client is looking for a data-driven and strategic Supply Chain Manager to add to their team (<150 company-wide) in the Nashville area. You’ll play a crucial leadership role focused on enhancing purchasing strategies and maximizing inventory availability. Leading their supply chain department (3 direct/15 indirect) including two warehouses (10,000+ SKUs), this position combines purchasing, inventory management, and logistics to boost operational efficiency and achieve business objectives. They’re seeking a forward-thinking, continuous improvement-minded thought leader who can seamlessly align manufacturing objectives with inventory planning. Someone who enjoys leveraging data to improve systems, reduce waste, and strengthen customer relationships through on-time delivery. With clients in aerospace, military, and oil & gas, their expansive client base allows for more insulation from economic sensitivities resulting in a more stable, consistent financial performance. Supply Chain Manager (supply chain & inventory planning exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory and reduce costs 
•    Lead purchasing, planning, inventory, and logistics teams (3 direct/15 indirect) 
•    Align capacity planning with manufacturing capabilities to enhance production flow
•    Drive continuous improvement through Lean practices and waste reduction
•    Oversee raw material logistics and manage supplier performance 
•    Enhance demand forecasting and align supply chain activities with production
•    Utilize ERP systems and analytics to track supply chain metrics and derive insights
•    Create dashboards for inventory, production, and supplier performance monitoring
•    Conduct cost analysis and implement strategies for inventory 
•    Mentor team members and promote a culture of accountability and excellence
•    Foster collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Production to meet goals

Supply Chain Manager (supply chain & inventory planning exp. req.) Qualifications  

•    Minimum of five years of supply chain experience within manufacturing required 
•    Well-versed in leading inventory planning & inventory management required  
•    Strong people leadership background required 
•    ERP experience required
