Our client, a leader in the agricultural industry, is seeking an Agronomy Operations Manager to lead their new direct-to-grower chemical division near Janesville, WI. In this hands-on role, you’ll build and refine end-to-end sales and fulfillment processes in a low-margin environment—balancing tight inventory control with efficient order execution, while also overseeing the launch of an ecommerce platform to bring competitive pricing directly to growers. To succeed, you must balance low-margin operations with efficient marketing, drive continuous process improvements, and cultivate strong relationships with both growers and internal teams. Ideal candidates bring deep experience in agricultural chemical sales operations, data-driven decision-making skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. Agronomy Operations Manager (Agrochemical sales or ops exp req) Responsibilities

•    Oversee daily sales operations and warehouse workflows
•    Manage inventory levels and forward sales positions
•    Develop and maintain pricing models and cost analyses
•    Generate and distribute daily position and performance reports
•    Coordinate order fulfillment processes with warehouse and logistics teams
•    Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency
•    Collaborate with procurement and agronomy on demand forecasting
•    Supervise, train, and mentor sales operations staff
•    Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company policies
•    Resolve customer inquiries and operational issues promptly

Agronomy Operations Manager (Agrochemical sales or ops exp req) Qualifications

•    5+ years of Agronomy sales or operations experience required
•    2+ years of Agrochemical, grain, or similar industry experience required
•    1+ years of management or leadership experience required
•    CRM experience required
