Business Development Manager - Marine Services Description 

Our client, a Houston-based manufacturer of proprietary equipment for the defense, marine, and energy markets, is seeking a Business Development Manager to help lead their expansion efforts in the marine services sector. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, supporting product development, and nurturing key customer relationships across U.S. shipyards and marine service companies, as well as offshore drilling contractors in global markets. This is a high-impact, technical sales role ideal for a motivated, experienced “hunter” who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. Business Development Manager - Marine Services Responsibilities

•    Identify and pursue new business opportunities in marine services, shipbuilding, and offshore energy markets
•    Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular outreach and in-person meetings
•    Present the technical and commercial value of equipment solutions to key stakeholders
•    Collaborate with internal teams to shape market strategies, proposals, and pricing
•    Provide customer insights to guide product development and innovation
•    Maintain accurate CRM records and manage customer/vendor portal registrations
•    Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client presentations

Business Development Manager - Marine Services Qualifications

•    5+ years of technical sales experience in marine services industry required 
•    3+ years capital equipment sales experience required 
•    Proven track record of generating leads and closing sales
•    Prospecting and cold-calling experience required
•    Ability to travel locally and domestically up to 50% required
