Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000+  with  Monthly Bonuses  +  Benefits
Benefits: Company pays 50% of Insurance Premiums, PTO, Company Car, Laptop, Phone 
Typical Hours: Monday-Friday, Full-Time: 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Travel: 3-4 days/week in the field locally (no overnights), some evenings for networking events

Business Development Manager - Commercial Businesses Description

Our client in the commercial building services industry is looking for a Business Development Manager to add to their team in Chicago, IL. Reporting to the Owner, you will be responsible for generating leads as the go-to solutions provider by identifying and engaging potential clients. You will proactively build relationships with key decision-makers (both new and existing), network, make cold calls, and follow warm leads, via in-person meetings, phone calls, and email outreach with the goal of generating Request for Proposals. Our client is looking for someone who is outgoing, self-motivated, and enjoys engaging with people with a talent for networking. Qualified candidates will have experience with B2B commercial building/facility services with proven abilities at building lasting relationships and generating new business opportunities. Business Development Manager - Commercial Businesses Responsibilities

•    Build long-term relationships with current customers
•    Make in-person client visits to top accounts
•    Conduct cold calls and email outreach to potential leads
•    Generate requests for proposals (RFPs) 
•    Attend networking events to grow lead potential
•    Plan and host social events to strengthen relationships with key decision makers
•    Update CRM with all existing and potential client activities
•    Work closely with the commercial team to ensure satisfaction

Business Development Manager - Commercial Businesses Qualifications

•    B2B business development experience required
•    Commercial building/facility services experience required
•    Proven ability to generate new business opportunities by networking and relationship building 
•    Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required
•    Willingness to be in the field and travel locally (3-4 days/week) required
