Our client is looking for an Administrative Coordinator / Assistant to join their team in North Hempstead, NY. In this role, you will support sales, marketing, and commercial service departments by managing orders, preparing reports, and coordinating shipping processes. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency while interacting with sales members, vendors, and other stakeholders. Administrative Coordinator / Assistant (5+ yrs exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Process incoming orders and coordinate with vendors for timely delivery
• Create order acknowledgments and track shipments to customers
• Prepare and manage various sales and marketing reports
• Communicate effectively with sales teams, vendors, and other departments
• Handle internal and external documentation related to schedules and orders
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets
• Support cross-functional teams with additional administrative tasks
Administrative Coordinator / Assistant (5+ yrs exp. req.) Qualifications
• 5+ years of administrative or sales support experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (spreadsheets, data entry, sorting) required
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and communications skills required
