Salary: $120,000 - $160,000+ (DOE) plus Benefits

Senior Estimator – MEP (HVAC/Plumbing) Description

Our client, a leader in providing commercial mechanical services, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team in Gaithersburg, MD. As the Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in analyzing project requirements, estimating costs for mechanical systems, and collaborating closely with the team to prepare and present proposals. Projects will range in size from $20k to $2.5M and previous estimating experience in commercial mechanical systems (HVAC/plumbing) is a must. This position requires precision, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and excellent communication skills to ensure accurate and compelling presentations that align with client expectations. Senior Estimator – MEP (HVAC/Plumbing) Responsibilities

•    Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems
•    Review project specifications and drawings to understand requirements and scope
•    Collaborate with internal teams to gather essential details for proposals
•    Develop and present detailed and competitive proposals 
•    Conduct site visits, as needed, to gather additional project information
•    Maintain knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and new technologies for estimating accuracy
•    Utilize estimating software effectively 

Senior Estimator – MEP (HVAC/Plumbing) Qualifications

•    4+ years of estimating commercial mechanical systems experience required 
•    Proficiency with estimating software required 
•    Ability to work in the office required
