HVAC Service Manager ($100k-$130k) Description

Our client, a well-established HVAC and Plumbing company, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join their team in Gaithersburg, MD. In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department, managing technicians and support staff while ensuring smooth scheduling, dispatching, and quoting of repairs. You'll work closely with the Vice President of the Service Division, providing hands-on leadership while supporting strategic goals. A key focus will be growing the service and replacement business and partnering with the sales team to support service contracts and upgrades. You'll also be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with field staff to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients. The ideal candidate has a solid HVAC background, proven service operations experience, and strong leadership skills. HVAC Service Manager ($100k-$130k) Responsibilities

•    Oversee HVAC service operations 
•    Manage and support field technicians and service support staff 
•    Review, price, and quote repair work, ensuring accuracy and profitability
•    Support the growth of the service and equipment replacement business
•    Ensure high standards of customer service, technical quality, and operational efficiency
•    Assist with strategic planning and overall oversight of the HVAC Service Division
•    Focus on the hands-on management of daily service operations
•    Provide technical guidance and mentoring to field staff when necessary
•    Monitor budgets and timelines for projects 
•    Ensure compliance with safety protocols and HVAC codes
•    Generate reports on KPIs and departmental performance

HVAC Service Manager ($100k-$130k) Qualifications

•    7+ years of HVAC service/operations experience required 
•    Previous experience as an HVAC Technician required
•    Previous HVAC service/operations management experience required
•    Ability to work in the office required
