Accountant (full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Description

Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their Team near Holland, MI. In this position, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the bookkeeping of their company (50 company-wide) while supporting HR functions such as payroll and benefits administration. Given the variety in your day, they are looking for team members who prefer to be hands-on. To be chosen for this role, you must have full-cycle accounting experience with background leading month-end closing. Accountant (full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Oversee all accounting functions 
•    Complete weekly payroll and remit payroll taxes
•    Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
•    Coordinate with CPA firm on tax filings
•    Review A/R and A/P activities and support deposits and collections 
•    Ensure accurate tracking of work-in-process accounts
•    Record and maintain financial transactions 
•    Support HR including new hire paperwork and benefits administration 
•    Collaborate internally and ensure seamless communication

Accountant (full-cycle accounting exp. req.) Qualifications

•    4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience required 
•    Strong background in leading month-end closing required 
•    Experience preparing financial statements required 
•    Able to work onsite daily required
