The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful product launches in the consumer goods space, with strong expertise in fragrance formulations and sensory evaluations. Chief R&D Officer (Consumer Goods/ Fragrance) Responsibilities

•    Develop and execute R&D strategies aligned with market trends and company goals
•    Lead innovation for fragrance and flavor formulations to meet and anticipate customer needs
•    Oversee product development from concept to launch, ensuring compliance and success
•    Support the team in the execution of industry-leading, fast-paced timelines 
•    Lead and mentor a diverse team of scientists and technicians (5 direct, 50 indirect)
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Regulatory teams
•    Drive research on new ingredients, technologies, and trends 
•    Foster a culture of innovation within the R&D team, encouraging creative solutions
•    Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
•    Ensure adherence to best practices in laboratory operations and safety protocols
•    Align R&D efforts with brand strategies and consumer expectations through market insights

Chief R&D Officer (Consumer Goods/Fragrance) Qualifications

•    Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required
•    15 years of R&D leadership experience in consumer goods, including fragrance, is required
•    Strong understanding of fragrance formulations and sensory evaluations is required
•    Growth and innovation mindset is required
•    Ability to work 100% on-site is required
