Outside Sales Representative (Industrial Sales exp. req.) Description
Our client in the manufacturing automation industry is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to add to their rapidly growing team in Winston-Salem, NC. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for creating and developing new business opportunities through significant outside sales engagement and relationship-building efforts. Our client is looking for a high-energy, motivated individual willing to learn the necessary depth of knowledge of their cutting-edge automation software. An ideal candidate will have at least three years of industrial sales experience with a longer, consultative sales approach tailored to clients’ pain points. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and manage your own territory with complete autonomy to control and own your success.
Outside Sales Representative (Industrial Sales exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Maintain and expand a large, existing B2B client base
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential leads
• Contact a specific target of prospective leads
• Run sales campaigns in Salesforce
• Schedule discovery meetings with prospective and current clients
• Upsell to current customers
• Cold call relevant industry contacts to generate new business
• Attend client meetings to determine technical and business requirements
• Work with Product Management to provide customer feedback
Outside Sales Representative (Industrial Sales exp. req.) Qualifications
• 3+ years of industrial sales experience required
• Consultative or relationship-based sales experience [not transactional] required
• CRM software experience required
• Prospecting experience with a hunter mentality required
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% locally within the Winston-Salem area
