Territory Sales Manager (REMOTE; Construction/Building Materials exp. req.) Description
Our client in the building materials industry is seeking a Territory Sales Manager located in Ohio or Indiana to add to their team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan within your assigned territory, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in relationship building and business development in construction or building materials. Success in this role requires a consultative sales approach and the ability to prospect and secure new customer relationships. Territory Sales Manager (REMOTE; Construction/Building Materials exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans within your territory
• Drive revenue and market share
• Identify and engage new customers, including contractors and builders
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline
• Track opportunities from lead generation to deal close
• Tavel up to 35% within your territory to prospect and meet with clients
• Attend job site walkthroughs to understand the scope of projects
• Work with internal teams on marketing and customer support efforts
Territory Sales Manager (REMOTE; Construction/Building Materials exp. req.) Qualifications
• 3+ years of B2B Outside Sales experience required
• Experience in the building materials or construction industry required
• Sales prospecting experience required
• Experience using a CRM to track sales activities is required
• Ability to travel up to 40% required (mix of airline & car travel, 1-2 nights at a time)
