Our client, a luxury goods retailer, is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team near Manhasset, NY. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming leads across online platforms – including email, chat, and social media – qualifying prospects, maintaining CRM records, and supporting the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience. Ideal candidates will have experience in online customer or sales support, are proactive, organized, and committed to delivering timely, high-quality service. This high-touch role offers room to grow into a sales-closing position, with significant earning potential for top performers.

Sales Assistant (online sales/customer support + CRM exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Monitor an average of 45 leads per day across all online platforms
•    Follow-up on all inquiries and leads in a timely manner 
•    Communicate with clients to answer product and service questions
•    Filter and escalate qualified leads to senior sales staff
•    Organize leads to ensure timely follow-up and response activities
•    Source products by coordinating with vendors and internal contacts
•    Manage CRM by updating customer and lead records
•    Support post-sale activities including returns and warranty issues
•    Contribute to improved CRM segmentation for targeted outreach
•    Response to inquiries outside of business hours may be necessary to ensure a sale
