Account Executive – Flavor Industry (Exp. Selling to CPG Accounts Req.) Description
Our client in the manufacturing industry for consumer goods is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in either GA, NC, TN, or OH. In this role, you will drive strategic efforts to expand their flavors additive business, targeting new markets and customer opportunities within the CPG sector. The ideal candidate will bring a hunter mentality, a track record of consultative sales success, and experience selling to CPG accounts. Prior flavor industry experience is not required. To succeed, you must be an innovative and strategic communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills. Account Executive – Flavor Industry (Exp. Selling to CPG Accounts Req.) Responsibilities
• Lead strategic growth initiatives for the flavors business within CPG accounts
• Position the company as the preferred supplier of flavors across all segments
• Expand market share by maximizing opportunities with existing and new customers
• Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities
• Partner with Marketing to create go-to-market strategies and sales tools
• Develop commercial proposals for regional and global flavor RFP’s
• Support the execution of customer-specific requirements and initiatives
• Deliver product concepts, presentations, and submission documents to customers
• Manage project pipelines and provide consistent progress updates
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to optimize execution and service
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams at all levels
Account Executive – Flavor Industry (Exp. Selling to CPG Accounts Req.) Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience selling to CPG accounts is required
• Strong experience hunting and prospecting for new business is required
• Consultative sales experience with customized products is required
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and strategic planning skills are required
• Ability to travel up to 60% is required
