Our client in the consumer products industry is seeking a Technical Support Advisor to join their team in Lodi, NJ. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you will balance providing phone-based technical support with inspecting and evaluating products. Supporting 15–25 customer cases daily, you will help troubleshoot small appliances, inspect returned products, and process warranty claims. This position is ideal for someone with an electrical or mechanical background—whether gained through trade school, technical support, field service, warranty support, or related customer service experience. Technical Support Advisor (Electrical or Mechanical-Related Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

•    Provide phone-based technical support to customers on small appliance issues
•    Troubleshoot performance problems and walk customers through solutions
•    Inspect, evaluate, and document findings on returned parts and appliances
•    Disassemble products for learning and investigation of technical issues
•    Take pictures and prepare reports for the factory team
•    Audit service agent submissions for accuracy and compliance
•    Log and manage customer support cases using internal systems
•    Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding issues and resolutions
•    Collaborate with factory teams to enhance support processes and service workflows

Technical Support Advisor (Electrical or Mechanical-Related Exp. Req.) Qualifications

•    2+ years of electrical or mechanical-related experience (technical support, trade school, field service, warranty, or similar) is required
•    Tech-savvy & comfortable learning new software programs is required
•    Strong customer service skills with professional phone and email communication is required
•    Ability to work 100% on-site is required
