L2 Field Technician Description
Our client, a provider of managed IT services, is seeking a skilled L2 Field Technician to join their growing team. You will provide infrastructure technical support to external clients while working closely with the leadership team to troubleshoot and optimize operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small, team-oriented environment, have at least two years of related experience at an MSP (managed service provider), and have strong knowledge of Exchange Online support skills. This is an exciting opportunity with a small, agile, and growing company that will invest in your success by providing the technical training necessary to become an expert in the field.
L2 Field Technician Responsibilities
• Interface and provide client support
• Address 5-20 tickets per day
• Bench and configure machines (desktops, servers, networking equipment)
• Provide user on-boarding and off-boarding
• Perform onsite new client on-boardings
• Interface with vendors for hardware failures
• Perform onsite hardware installations
• Troubleshoot hardware issues
• Help address client needs and ensure satisfaction is met
• Keep documentation current
L2 Field Technician Qualifications
• 2+ years of IT support experience at an MSP (managed service provider) required
• Active Directory experience required
• Exchange Online (MS Teams, SharePoint, One Drive) experience required
• Experience with a ticketing system/PSA tool required
• Hardware installation & configuration (workstations, laptops, servers, etc.) experience required
• Must have or be willing to become A+, Network+, and MS900 certified during training
