Customer Service Representative (order management exp. req.) Description 

Our client in the business supplies and distribution industry is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their culture-focused, easy-going Team of 20 in New York, NY. This position is 100% onsite near Madison Square Park. Working across customer support, warehousing, and operations, you’ll play a key role in maintaining seamless communication across each department while ensuring customer satisfaction with consistent and timely follow up. Although most of your time will be spent on customer service, most communication will be via email and less inbound calls. If you’re looking for less of a call center type setting, this could be a great fit. To be chosen for this role, you must have a background supporting sales team members with administrative functions such as order management and customer relations. You will be mentored by their Operations Leader who has been with the Team for over 20 years so anything you haven’t already been exposed to; you will have the opportunity to learn from someone who will ensure you are set up for success. Customer Service Representative (order management exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Liaison between departments and foster clear communication
•    Support customers via incoming calls and email communications 
•    Evaluate and respond to customer purchase orders
•    Identify any pricing discrepancies and correct pricing information throughout orders
•    Keep inventory records and place orders for new products as necessary
•    Monitor and follow up on all orders and purchase orders daily
•    Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively
•    Locate, track, and provide shipment details to customers
•    Coordinate logistics with suppliers and shipping companies 
•    Process returns and exchanges for defective items
•    Coordinate with vendors, and generate reports 
•    Provide exceptional customer service 

Customer Service Representative (order management exp. req.) Qualifications

•    3+ years of customer service experience required 
•    Familiarity with processing sales orders required 
•    CRM or ERP experience required 
•    Willingness and ability to work onsite daily required
