Location: Montgomery County, MD
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Typical Hours: Monday–Friday (occasional weekend work required)

Construction Safety Manager (MEP industry) Description
Our client, in the MEP commercial/industrial contracting industry, is looking for a Construction Safety Manager to join their team in Montgomery County, MD. This role is responsible for overseeing safety across all job sites throughout the DMV area. You’ll split your time between the office and in the field, ensuring safety programs are followed and crews and subcontractors stay compliant. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of safety protocols in commercial construction and experience implementing safety procedures. Construction Safety Manager (MEP industry) Responsibilities
• Ensure OSHA and safety compliance across field and office operations
• Conduct site safety inspections and spot checks for crews and subcontractors
• Maintain and update company safety manual and SOPs
• Lead incident investigations and complete follow-up documentation
• Create and roll out safety programs (PPE, fall protection, tool safety, etc.)
• Coordinate monthly safety meetings with division leaders
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance on job sites
• Ensure policies align with general contractor and client safety rules
• Maintain internal safety records and documentation
Construction Safety Manager (MEP industry) Qualifications
• 5+ years of construction safety experience required
• Field safety experience in MEP or commercial contracting environments required
• Experience writing and implementing safety procedures required
• Working knowledge of OSHA and local safety laws required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Willingness/ability to travel locally (home same day) 50% of the time required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and inspect active job sites in varying environmental conditions required
