Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 Base Salary + up to 15% Bonus

Retail Store Manager Description

Our client, a highly respected grocery retailer in Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead their 75,000 sq foot location in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role calls for a leader with a background in managing perishables and overseeing teams of 30+ employees. As Store Manager, you will drive overall store performance, spearhead inventory resets, and spend approximately 70% of your time on the floor, actively engaging with your well-staffed team. Retail Store Manager Responsibilities

•    Lead store operations, profitability, and customer satisfaction
•    Manage staff of 80–90, including Assistant Managers and department leads
•    Coach team members and assign daily tasks
•    Oversee inventory, scheduling, and customer service
•    Track KPIs and address performance concerns
•    Implement merchandising and marketing plans
•    Troubleshoot system issues and support cashiers
•    Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
•    Align store culture with company values
•    Build strong relationships with staff, vendors, and corporate teams

Retail Store Manager Qualifications

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience as a retail store manager or supervisor required 
•    Experience managing perishable food products required 
•    Experience leading or managing teams of 30+ employees required 
•    Proficiency with MS Office applications required
