Location: near Dickson, TN (an hour west of Nashville); WFH 2-3 days per week   
Salary: $75,000-$90,000+ (DOE)

[HYBRID] Senior Contracts Specialist (contract administration exp. req.) Description 

Our client, a well-established chemical manufacturer, is looking for an analytical and communicative Sr. Contracts Specialist add to their team near Dickson, TN. In this role, you will support the full lifecycle management of contracts across multiple domestic and international market segments. About 60% of your time will be spent facilitating government contracts. Given the diversification of their product portfolio and its end users, they are nimble in the market with a strong commercial presence as well. For candidates who enjoy more diversity and complexity in their day, this could be an exciting environment given the nicheness (and innovation) of their products.  To be chosen for this role, you must have demonstrated experience writing proposals, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance. Someone who can clearly speak to the variety of contracts they have worked with a proven track record of aligning internal and external stakeholders. This is a critical role where you will be a key contributor to a company at the forefront of applications used in defense, aerospace, and oil & gas. 

[HYBRID] Senior Contracts Specialist (contract administration exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Manage and support the lifecycle of government and commercial contracts 
•    Create proposals and support negotiations with the Director of Programs Management  
•    Interpret contracts and oversee their execution including performance tracking and closeout
•    Act as a resource for ITAR/EAR regulations, contract types, and flow-down requirements
•    Negotiate and administer NDAs, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents
•    Support sales teams by coordinating contract inputs for proposals and BOEs
•    Guide teams on regulatory compliance and contractual risk management
•    Maintain auditable contract files and assist with audits from government and customers
•    Serve as a Company Signatory Authority for contracts, NDAs, and T&C
•    Prepare and track export/import licenses and documentation for ITAR/EAR compliance
•    Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to align contracts with business execution

•    Bachelor’s degree required 
•    Commercial and/or government contract administration experience required 
•    Background reviewing terms and conditions agreements required 
•    Proposal development and negotiation of legal documents experience required
